FEEL THE EASE OF CALLING DOCTOR TO YOUR HOUSE WITH MEDI-CALL

The citizens of Yogyakarta now do not need to worry about health access. The cause is, Saturday (27/01), Medi-Call application just launched its service in this city. Medi-Call is a health service application that allows its users to call doctor or homecare nurse to their house and get the homecare treatment with affordable price. It is obvious that this application will ease people to get a non-emergency health service.

“In the past, calling doctor to home was quite difficult, and it won’t happen anymore. So, Medi-Call can help people to access health service,” said dr. Gideon. Previously, Medi-Call has provided its service in Jabodetabek and Bali, after working with 256 doctors, 115 nurses, 270 pharmacies, and 15 clinics. By launching Medi-Call application in Yogyakarta, dr. Gideon wishes the doctors from Indonesian Doctor Community (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia - IDI) in Yogyakarta to join so that Yogyakarta people can feel the easy access of health service.

According to the CEO of Medi-Call, dr. M. Candra Wijanadi, in a year, Medi-Call has treated more than 1500 patients. With the easy access by smartphone, Medi-Call which is partnered with Apotek K-24 in delivering prescribed medicine will obviously answer various health problems.

One of the doctors who has tried as Medi-Call partner, dr. Cahya, admitted that this application is easy to use and helped him to give direct treatment to the patient at home. For every service provided by the doctor, the patient will be charged for Rp. 100.000,00 and the travel cost from the doctor’s location to the patient’s house will be added.

The Launching and Press Conference of Medi-Call at that day was also attended by the doctors from IDI, such as Dr. dr. Wikan Indrarto, SpA and dr. Joko Hastaryo, M.Kes., nurses from various hospitals, media people, and also bloggers. The event was also enlivened with handing vouchers for the participants who uploaded the photo of the event that day in the social media and putting hashtag #doktorkerumah. The handover of medical kit bag from Medi-Call to the representative of the doctors marks the wish of partnership in the future.
